Can my child attend Pope John Paul if our family is not Catholic?
Absolutely! Students of all faiths and backgrounds are welcome at Pope John Paul II Regional Catholic Elementary School. In a Catholic school, each student will be expected to participate in daily prayer and religious education which can be a rich cultural experience for children who are not Catholic. Mass is celebrated as a school community with students and teachers, and all family members are invited to attend.
Does my child qualify for bussing?
School districts within a ten mile radius of Pope John Paul II must provide busing according the PA law for students beginning in Kindergarten. The ten mile radius is measured from the PJP campus to the public school district’s nearest border. The following districts currently provide transportation: Coatesville, Downingtown, Octorara, Pequea Valley, Twin Valley, and Owen J. Roberts.
Are before and aftercare available?
Quality extended care is offered from 6:30 am to 6:00 pm.
Do you offer scholarships?
Scholarships are need based and families must apply through the Facts Grant and Aid portal. See the tuition and financial aid page for instructions on how to apply.
