The Uniform Compliance Initiative
Informational letter

A student’s appearance, self-respect and performance tend to complement one another; therefore, we require each student to exercise reasonable care and neatness regarding dress and appearance.  The administration and faculty reserve the right to determine appropriate uniform requirements.
The complete dress code, including hair and jewelry, can be found in the family handbook.
 
PreK 3 & 4 Boys and Girls: Gym uniform at all times with the option of the long-sleeve t-shirt in lieu of the sweatshirt.

Traditional (Winter) Dress Uniforms: 

Boys (Grades K-8) Dress Uniforms:    
PANTS: Navy twill pants - NO cargo or banded/elastic ankles
SHIRT: White oxford button down collar shirt (long or short sleeve)
SWEATER: Prescott red V-neck sweater vest or Prescott red V-neck pullover sweater or 1/4 zip fleece pull-over (Boys must wear one of these options.) with PJPII logo
TIE: Official striped from Flynn & O'Hara
BELT: All boys must wear a black/brown leather belt
SOCKS: Navy crew socks
 
Girls (Grades K-4) Dress Uniforms:   
JUMPER: Official Uniform jumper
PANTS: Tan twill pants from Flynn & O'Hara
BLOUSE: White Peter Pan collar (long or short sleeve)
SWEATER: (Optional) Prescott red cardigan sweater with logo or 1/4 Zip fleece pull-over with PJPII logo
HOSIERY: Navy knee highs or tights
 
Girls (Grades 5-8) Dress Uniforms:
SKIRT: Official uniform skirt - plaid
SKORT: Navy uniform skort from Flynn & O'Hara
PANTS: Tan twill pants from Flynn & O'Hara
BLOUSE: White oxford button down collar blouse (long or short sleeve)
SWEATER or 1/4 ZIP: Prescott red V-neck sweater vest or Prescott redV-neck pullover sweater or 1/4 Zip fleece pull-over (Girls must wear one of these options.) with PJPII logo

GYM T-SHIRT: Maroon gym T-shirt with PJPII lettering
SNEAKERS: Low top – ALL WHITE athletic sneaker including an all white sole

HOME & SCHOOL Uniform Exchange: 
The uniform exchange allows families to donate or trade in their gently worn uniform items for credit to "purchase" previously worn uniform items in stock.   Uniforms will be available for both exchange and/or purchase. Orders or requests cannot be taken and uniforms cannot be held.

Pope John Paul II Regional Catholic Elementary School's logo:
PJPII's logo was modeled after our school's patron saint, St. Pope John Paul II, whose papal crest contained an off-center cross and the letter "M" representing his devotion to the Blessed Mother. In addition, the "M" is reflective of the devotion and commitment of our IHM Sisters who served our school community for 113 years. The 3 stars represent our three partner parishes: St. Peter, Our Lady of the Rosary and St. Joseph in Coatesville. Stars were also part of Coatesville Area Catholic Elementary School's (C.A.C.E.S.) logo. The flame represents knowledge and hope. The shield portrays the school's CYO moniker, the Saints, who defended themselves during battle. Finally, the school colors maroon and white were integrated and complemented with the color blue representing the three colors in the school uniform.
